Christmas 2008

What, did you think I was gonna wear the hat on the side that said "Naughty?

"We had Christmas eve dinner at Nan's new house. Then today we had breakfast and opened gifts. We had a great time but missed those who couldn't be with us in person... though you all know you were in our thoughts, hearts and usually on the phone at least once. :0) Here are some of the pictures I took.

12 puppies! (Born on 11-18-08)

Bella's 2nd litter of puppies!

As most of you know, our sweet puppy Ani was killed this past year on 7/2/08. I suppose some people would say I should take her pictures down since she's gone but it's my way of honoring how much I loved and still miss her.

This year we bred Ani's mother, Bella, again but with Rob & Kari's AKC champion, Sampson. She had 12 puppies this time! I know, that's a lot! Her first litter was very small (only 4). I delivered the pick of the litter to Kari & their family today. They're naming her Delilah Rey and keeping her as a companion for her father, Sampson, so he'll have someone his size to play with.

Our sweet Great Pyrennes, Bella, had puppies on Jan 23rd. We kept one girl, named her Anica and call her Ani. She's very sweet, playful and smart. The only thing she does that drives me crazy is chew on my furniture (the wood)! Eventually she'll be an outside working dog like her mom but right now she's too small to stay out at night since there are so many coyotes around here.
